Early-stage entrepreneurs, particularly women, face significant challenges accessing the funding and support they need to launch, grow, and scale their businesses. This blog discusses the International Finance Corporation’s US$3 million investment in i2i Venture —the first female-led venture capital fund in Pakistan —under its Startup Catalyst Program. Venture capital funds like i2i Ventures are vital to closing gender financing gaps. The fund’s aim is to “back bold founders solving some of Pakistan’s biggest problems” with investment in pre-seed and seed-stage startups and hands-on support.
