Community Management Training Level 1
Welcome to the Community Management Training! First things first, please introduce yourself to the other participants, in this thread.
Here’s a quick recap of the schedule of sessions for this course:
- Oct. 25 - Module 1: Defining and Planning your Community, 9:30 to 11:30AM (EST time)
- Nov. 1 - Module 2: (Re) Designing your Community for Success, 9:30 to 11:30AM (EST time)
- Nov. 8 - Module 3: (Re) Launching your Community - Thursday March 8, 9:30 to 11:30AM (EST time)
- Nov. 15 - Module 4: Planning for your Next 3 Months - Thursday March 15, 9:30 to 11:30AM (EST time)
There is a mandatory final assignment, due on November 29, 2018. As part of this assignment, you will be asked to provide feedback on another participant’s final submission.
Attendance to a majority of the sessions and the submission of the final assignment, are the two mandatory requirements to be considered successful in completing the course.

Should you also be interested in gaining the Community Management Certification, which places you on our pipeline of recommended Community Managers, you will need to fulfill the following checklist by submitting your assignments online.
You’ll see that a few people went through the training before you, feel free to be inspired by their answers to assignments! You can browse more, including optional assignments and older threads, under the Discussion section.
All assignments need to be submitted online, either under each discussion linked above, or as a separate file (using the Workbook linked here), no later than November 29, 2018.
