Despite a 44% decline in child stunting from 1990 to 2022, progress is insufficient. The Investment Framework for Nutrition 2024 expands the focus to include low birthweight and obesity, adding policy considerations, operational guidance for country-level implementation, and gender and climate change perspectives. An additional $13 billion annually is needed to scale up nutrition interventions, especially in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. These investments need to be supported by targeted policies to influence consumer preferences. This report provides cost-effective, evidence-based investments and policy recommendations for countries.
