JLN HEP Collaborative Authors' Workshop - Cross Posted
Last month, the Joint Learning Network (JLN) Health Emergency Preparedness Collaborative (HEP Collaborative) convened an Authors' Workshop in Cambodia, bringing together members from ten countries, including Bahrain, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, and Zambia. Participants focused on co-authoring three key knowledge products: (1) a tool on Public Financial Management systems for health emergencies; (2) a guide for tracking budgeting and expenditure for health emergency preparedness and response; and (3) a practical guide on health emergency preparedness and response governance based on country experience. The workshop facilitated in-depth discussions, with members contributing granular details and country-specific insights. These inputs are now being compiled into draft outlines, which will be shared with country teams for review. Next steps involve engaging authors to document country experiences for the final products.
