Where do women of the energy sectors in the Middle East and North Africa stand?
You are invited to attend the launch of the new MENA Regional Network in Energy for Women (RENEW-MENA). RENEW MENA’s goal is to boost women’s participation and status in the energy sector across the MENA region. In collaboration with similar networks in other regions, RENEW-MENA will engage with government utilities and agencies, private sector, development partners, academia, and community-based organizations to meet objectives through innovative analytical work, direct support to operations and client engagement, and capacity-building.
The launch event will present new data from across the MENA region on the status of women in the sector. Global examples of select initiatives will also be presented to identify opportunities for learning, collaboration, and partnership. A fantastic line up from the World Bank, AccessWIE, the Egypt Gas Regulatory Authority, Women of MENA in Tech, and Kraftkvinnorna will participate.
We hope you are ready to join us as we kick off this new network!
