The Kyrgyz Health Results-Based Financing Project aims (1) at introducing alternative provider payment mechanisms through results-based financing and enhanced supervision, in randomly selected rayon hospitals, to pilot and test alternatives for improving the quality of health services; and (2) at strengthening the Government’s and providers’ capacity for collecting, monitoring and evaluating information regarding the quality of health services.
