The project objective is to improve the sanitation and hygiene practices an estimated 112,500 poor and vulnerable persons in four districts of northern Ghana. This would be achieved through a RBF and innovative approaches in sanitation like the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and the Village Savings and Loans Schemes (VSLAs) which puts more emphasis on the resourcefulness of the communities to make more effective use of funds and stimulates demand and investing in water, sanitation and hygiene services.
