    Hello everybody.

My name is José Carlos Soldevilla Saavedra, but please call me Kalin.

I work in San Isidro's municipality, one of the 49 districts that composes Lima-Callao Metropolis, capital city of Peru's Republic in Sotuh America.

The area of the city hall who I represent is Urban Planning. My duties are to propose and evaluate urban projects from the urban mobility prespectives. We're also responsable of evaluating the impact of private developments where our vision is to direct these investements in order to obtain a sustainable city, model for the metropolis.

The reason for joining this TDD is because our district has a very particular situation in aging: We have a decreasing population rate, where elders above 60 years old occupy the 20% of the population and this rate has been increasing over the years. Nevertheless, San Isidro is the Central Business District (CBD) of the Metropolis and concentrates around 10% of the metropolis jobs and receives around 800 000 visitants on a daily average.

This situation requires smart urban planning where inclusiveness for the elders is a priority considering their residents condition.

My expectations form this TDD is to gather an important amount of experiences from different contexts as examples that could be translated to San Isidro's condition.
