Technical Deep Dive on Information Technologies for Land Administration Services

November 13-17, 2017

 

TDLC is organizing a Technical Deep Dive (TDD) on Information Technologies for Land Administration Services, in collaboration with the World Bank Land and Policy Thematic Group and the Geospatial Community of Practice. This TDD will discuss the policy, legal framework, institutional arrangements investment needs to enable the development of national and municipal data infrastructure to facilitate spatial data generation and sharing among government agencies, including cities to support improved services, e-government applications and smart cities. The discussion will focus on principles, reference guides and good practices for topics such as geospatial policy, law, institutional arrangements, standards, technical systems and geodetic infrastructure, fundamental datasets, capacity, and use/applications of geospatial data, as well methods to calculate the economic impact and value of SDI systems.
