The World Bank Urbanscapes Group will be hosting an event focused on public spaces. The event, entitled "Urbanscapes Symposium: Public Spaces for City Transformation" will be held at the World Bank in Washington D.C. from April 5-6, 2016. We have invited an excellent line-up of interesting speakers for the event and is open to all Bank staff. The two-day event will feature a gathering of experts, practitioners and stakeholders from various regions to share with us their work and experience in making public urban spaces work for cities. World Bank staff will also share some interesting ongoing projects and their challenges during the Symposium.
