It explores the difference in profits and experiences among female entrepreneurs who cross over into male-dominated sectors (MDS) compared to those who remain in traditionally female-concentrated sectors (FCS). Recommendations include: safely connecting women to male mentors and role models; providing early exposure to and training in male-dominated sectors; enhancing women’s education; increasing access to capital and loans; and encouraging spousal support.
