Katya is a Policy Analyst working on a portfolio of Reimbursable Advisory Services to the ECA countries, from Bulgaria to Turkey. She provides analytical inputs and authors sector studies and policy notes for initiation and implementation of AAA projects, with specific interest in assessing market potential and competitiveness of the agro-food sector. The main focus of her current work is provision of support to the Russian Federation efforts in increasing Food Security in Eurasia and elevating its role on the G-8/G-20 agenda, for which she has taken a role of a community manager to facilitate the establishment of the Eurasian Food Security Network. Before joining the World Bank, Katya conducted research for the Government of the Russia and worked on the partnership side for the United Nations in New York.
