Trey Scott is currently Founder of Solar Spirals.com, a consulting group committed to rural electrictrification in the developing world.

Trey was recently the Director of Sales and the Manager of Marketing/Outreach, Design & Business Systems for Sundance Power Systems (SPS). SPS is a SE region renewable energy company specializing in solar electric, solar thermal, wind, micro-hydro and radiant floor systems for commercial and residential installations.

Trey was originally hired with the mandate for strategic change management as Field Operations Manager. Trey was responsible for all aspects of Commercial and Residential installations, personnel hiring and training, supply chain management and service delivery. In short, this role involved a full assessment of what was working well with Operations, what needed fixing and how to implement solutions.

Two years of transforming operations in these departments resulted with an invitation to mirror this success for Sales and Marketing as Director of Sales. In this role for just 6 Quarters, Trey nearly doubled revenues in that time frame compared with any other previous 6-Quarters in the companyâ€™s history. The 2013 fiscal year has been the the most successful/profitable year SPS has had in its 17 years of being in business ! Through Treyâ€™s leadership, initiative and training with an eye for best practices and the implementation of accountability, this recent demonstration is an excellent indicator of future success for any scale of partnering with Solar Spirals.
 
Prior to Treyâ€™s work with Sundance Power in NC, he lived on the north coast of California as co-Founder of Humboldt Adventures and the non-profit, Executive Director of Camp Fire USA. Working with and building a Board of Directors from 3 to 25, Trey developed operating systems and expanded business development revenue opportunities that grew services overseeing high risk, high adventures for all ages. Programs were developed to include corporate and business groups, other non-profits and higher education leaders in the region. Fiscal responsibility and practices supported thousands of people and families to benefit from these programs.

Earlier, Trey served as Principal and Vice Principal for several high schools in school districts both in northern and central California. He also taught high school and coached sporting teams in Hawaii.

Finally, Trey excelled for over a decade in the motion picture, television and publishing industries in a variety of roles including network news reporter, producer, writer and Owner of a comprehensive video production and marketing company.

Trey holds a Master of Arts from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in International Policy Studies and Comparative Literature and a Bachelor of Arts triple-major from Willamette University in International Studies, Psychology and English. He also holds teaching and administrative credentials from Chapman and Humboldt State Universities.
