Primary protocol 2 attempts to respond to encounters with Ebola. They also address the situation of persons who suspect themselves to be infected with the virus. The psychological orientations and behaviors accompanying these events require exploration and responses and this will be attempted as soon as time permits. Responses to those affected by the virus must be government by the best of humanitarian principles and conduct.
The question of fear and anxiety must also be addressed and attempts will be made to do so as soon as time and resources are made available. Populations faced with fear and anxiety may act irrationally as has already been seen in some instances.
