    Technical description
    One of the key challenges facing the Georgian logistics sector is development of modern logistics centers. As part of the East-West Highway Corridor Improvement Project financed by the World Bank, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia (MoESD), on behalf of the Government of Georgia, intends to carry out a feasibility study for the creation of logistics centers.
    Feasibility study will include market and gap analysis of logistics centers services, demand analysis and forecasts, identification of potential sites and their comparative analysis, preparation of detailed technical, economic and financial evaluations and environment and social impact assessment.
    After the finalization of study (by the end of the 2016), the MoESD will announce the Expression of Interest for selecting the investor for the development of Logistics centers based on the Public Private Partnership.

    Status
    Tender is underway for hiring the consulting company in charge of the feasibility study.
