Road project. Upgrade. The road M21 Chisinau-Dubasari-Ukrainian border belong to the International Transport Corridor IX Helsinki-S.Peterburg-Pskov-Moscova-Kiev-Ljubase-Chişinău-Bucureşti-Dimitrovgrad-Alexandropoulis and is a connection to TEN-T network. Road M21 is the shortest link between Chisinau and Dubasari, providing access to Kirovograd and Poltava in Ukraine. It is an integral part of the European highway E 584 Poltava - Kirovograd - Chisinau - Galati - Slobozia. At km 15 Road M21 intersects with Road M14.

|Road M21 was constructed between 1961 and 1965. The pavement is comprised of lengths of concrete slabs with intermittent sections of bituminous roadway, and the technical parameters of the road are appropriate for a Category III road according to SNiP Standards 2.05.02-85. The road sector km 30+400 to km 40+100 was widened to four lanes between 1984 and 1986. |
