Visibility: Open to anyone

The paper investigates whether local content policies, legislation and institutions in Nigeria during 2000-2015 were concomitant to positive and significant changes in socio-economic development both at the national and state levels. It situates the findings within wider development policy-making frameworks in Nigeria, makes references to development trajectories of other oil rich countries and highlights implications for other oil rich development countries in Africa.
