As part of its Plan for a Healthy Los Angeles program, the City of Los Angeles has launched an interactive online mapping tool1 which displays data on the city’s demographic and social characteristics, transportation, housing, land use, and economic conditions, among others, in the form of maps and charts. This innovative mapping tool makes the city-wide data more publicly accessible by allowing users to profile various characteristics and conditions at the city and neighborhood levels.
