Through two of its existing projects, the World Bank, the Kenya Climate-Smart Agriculture (KCSAP), and the National Agriculture Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP), is cumulatively investing 450 million USD in enhancing productivity and resilience, and profitability of the million farmers across all 45 rural counties in Kenya. The project components are building an ecosystem to Agriculture Transformation in Kenya by leveraging Data-driven Digital Technologies and developing use cases and interventions such as big data platform, Micro Weather Observatory, Farmers Digital Registry and Farm Geotagging, Digital Food Balance Sheet, One Million Farmers Platform, Digital e-voucher system, Digitizing Producer Organizations, and Desert Locust's warning and response.
