The Climate Group has recently produced a short animated video that takes a refreshing look at the challenges and opportunities for off-grid electricity in India. The most viable pathway to solve the global energy crisis whilst reducing greenhouse gas emissions that leads towards a low carbon trajectory is through scalable market-driven models. The aim of this video is to very simply explain the opportunities for provisioning off-grid electricity in India with the primary focus on mobilising private investment into this sector.
