This is your lab
The World Bank and the Regional Plan Association of New York have launched the Global Lab on Metropolitan Strategic Planning during the 1st Metropolitan Exchange held in New York City last April, 2013. The Lab included the participation of ten city delegates from 4 regions and an outstanding panel of experts from government, private sector, academia and NGOs. This community of practice is part of the Lab program services of peer learning, virtual knowledge exchange, and high-level face-to-face workshops and consultations. The objective is to enable participants form different cities to jointly explore solutions for shared concerns on a regular basis. Members’ engagement and active participation is essential for knowledge exchange and the ultimate success of this initiative.
