Technical description
The project is included in the national transport master plan/strategy.

Length: 35 km. Number of lanes: 2-4 lanes.

Applicant/promoter/sponsor
Roads Department of Georgia, Ministry of regional development and infrastructure
Investment amount
The total estimated cost of the project is 180 mln USD.
Implementation schedule
Expected time period for the implementation of project 2017 - 2020. Construction is planned to start at 2017.
Status
Feasibility study and detail design has started in April 2016 and is on going.

Detail design is funded bu EIB
