2016-20 – Georgia, Construction of the new road Batumi bypass-Sarpi (border of Turkey)
Road project. Project of regional significance, would improve connections with Turkish and possibly of interest for NIF.

Technical description
Length: 10km. Number of Lanes: 2 lanes. The project is included in the national transport master plan/strategy.
Applicant/promoter/sponsor
Roads Department of Georgia, Ministry of regional development and infrastructure
Investment amount
The total estimated cost of the project is 100 mln USD.
Implementation schedule
Expected time period for the implementation of project 2018 - 2020. Construction is planned at 2018.
Status
Bidding procedure for feasibility study and detail design will start in May 2016.
Source of funding
Detail design will be funded by ADB
