2010-16 - Moldova, Roads project II (closed)

Road project. Upgrade. This Project is part of a more comprehensive rehabilitation programme including also Projects "Moldova Roads III" and "Moldova European Roads". It covers the rehabilitation of 500 km of the trunk road network in Moldova on the two main North-South and East-West axes. Sections of R14 road starting from the Sarateni intersection towards Balti, section of the M2/R2 Chisinau-Orhei road, section of the R3 Chisinau-Hincesti road, starting from the Chisinau city limits, section of R1 Chisinau-Ungheni and border to Romania at Sculeni.

Technical description

Road sections and Supervision Contracts financed by the EIB are the following:

  • Rehabilitation of M2 Chisinau-Soroca road km5+733 - km 26+200
  • Construction Supervision of Road - Rehabilitation Works: M2 Chisinau-Soroca km5+733 - km 26+200
  • Rehabilitation of R1 Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni Road km6+446 - km 24+050

  • Rehabilitation of R1 Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni Road km24+050 - km 68+250
  • Construction Supervision of Road Rehabilitation Works: R1 Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni Road km24+050 - km 68+250
  • Rehabilitation Works: Rehabilitation of R1 Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni Road km6+446 - km 24+050
