The 2017 Asia Pacific Carbon Forum (APCF 2017) is a leading regional conference & exhibition for climate action related to markets and economic instruments. The event, co-organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC), provides an excellent platform to exchange knowledge and information regarding carbon markets and, more recently, Nationally Determined Contributions implementation, at a regional level.
The international community achieved a resounding success crafting a new, universal climate change agreement at COP21 in Paris in December 2015. This agreement marks the start of a historic new era and provides new opportunities to achieve needed transition to climate solutions. The Asia Pacific Carbon Forum is the ideal setting to enter into discussions, exchange ideas, and develop business opportunities.
The event will take place at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Center - Bangkok, Thailand
