Cities are growing at alarming rates and consequently facing a variety of challenges such as traffic congestion, pollution, pedestrian deaths and an increasing urban populace.
Thank you for this very interesting piece on NMT in Nairobi, Kenya. When you say "less attractive" are you mainly thinking about the economic dimension? I am emphasizing this issue because I believe this is a timely topic and many studies look into the effectiveness of non-motorised transport in relation to economic growth, reduction of poverty and quality of life.
