Eastern Partnership Transport Panel (EAP TP) community is a framework for exchange of information and best practices on transport projects in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine. It has been initiated by transport experts from the World Bank and the European Commission. June 18th 2019, Kiev: WORLD BANK AND EUROPEAN COMISSION ORGANIZED 
REGIONAL ROAD SAFETY MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM 6 EAP COUNTRIES

The economic cost of road fatalities and injuries in the six #EasternPartnership countries is 10.7 billion US$ per year which is the equivalent of 4.4% of GDP.

The #WorldBank jointly with the #EuropeanCommission organized, the regional road safety meeting with representatives from the Eastern Partnership countries (EaP), to discuss the concept of the EaP Road Safety Observatory, present the results of the Road Safety Enforcement Benchmark report produced by the World Bank and engage with the #CSOs to share good practices implemented in the field of #roadsafety
