Dominican Republic becomes the first country to sign for the "Alliance for Primary Health Care in the Americas", establishing a country-level advisory Committee. 

 

The Alliance, supported by PAHO, IDB, and the World Bank, aims to strengthen the health system by investing in primary health care, favor coordination and coherence between current and future projects in the health sector, and provide strategic advice to the Ministry of Health. This initiative aligns with the National Strategic Health Plan 2030 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, marking a significant step towards inclusive, people-centered health care.
