Una mirada a la protección de los bosques desde los ojos de los jóvenes de la Amazonía

Los jóvenes ejercen un rol protagónico en los esfuerzos por proteger los ecosistemas en el planeta. Lo hacen por el presente y por el futuro que les espera. El programa Paisajes Sostenibles de la Amazonía (ASL) organizó este conversatorio para presentar el trabajo realizado hasta el momento para incorporar los esfuerzos de jóvenes en la conservación de la Amazonía.
El evento fue una oportunidad para escuchar las voces de los equipos del ASL y principalmente, de los jóvenes participantes de las distintas actividades. El evento permitió conocer las acciones que vienen implementando, las lecciones aprendidas y la visión del futuro que tienen los más jóvenes para la protección ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible de las comunidades en la región amazónica.

The Young people of the Amazon vision on forest protection

Young people play a leading role in efforts to protect ecosystems on the planet. They do it for the present and for the future that awaits them. The Amazon Sustainable Landscapes (ASL) program organized this conversation to present the work done so far to incorporate the efforts of young people in the conservation of the Amazon.
The event was an opportunity to hear the voices of the ASL teams and, mainly, the young participants in the different activities. The purpose was to know the actions they are implementing, the lessons learned and the vision of the future that the youngest have for the environmental protection and sustainable development of communities in the Amazon region.
