Webinar WWF: Virtual Conversation on Gender and Wildlife Trafficking

April 11, 2023 | 11:00 AM | http://bit.ly/3YCvMo3

WWF invites to the Virtual Conversation on Gender and Wildlife Trafficking with the participation of Joni Seager, Professor of Global Studies at Bentley University and author of the study "Gender and Wildlife Trafficking" published by WWF International last year.

The event seeks to reflect on how we see the situation of wildlife trafficking and gender in our region. Joni will share with the participants the main findings and conclusions of this study, followed by a discussion on addressing the gender perspective in programs, policies, and interventions to deal with illegal wildlife trafficking.

This discussion is organized by WWF, through the Amazon Indigenous Rights and Resources Project, and the Amazon Regional Environmental Program of USAID.
