"The Amazon Sustainable Landscape is like a dream come true to protect the biodiversity and ecosystem services that the Amazon biome provides to the world. Building on decades of work in Brazil, Colombia and Peru, this program can accelerate the local and regional solutions and innovations happening in the region and disseminate them more widely.”

The World Bank Group (WBG) (as lead agency), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are serving as Global Environment Facility (GEF) implementing agencies for the projects. Besides the agencies, other main partners for the Amazon Sustainable Landscapes (ASL) are the public and private organizations directly involved as project executing partners.
