The last session summarized key partnerships and networks for better coordination and communication in the aquaculture space in the region. Matthias Halwart from FAO introduced the GSAAP, a network of research centers and Academia established under the overarching framework of FAO to promote knowledge dissemination and technology transfer in aquaculture. ANAF was introduced as the regional network for aquaculture in Africa and Stephen Reichley shared the work of the ‘Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Fish’, with special emphasis on the integrated aquaculture projects conducted in Nigeria.
