WePOWER Returning and Working Mothers and Parents’ Module

What is the WePOWER Returning and Working Mothers and Parents’ Module and who is it for?

WePOWER is a women's professional network in the energy and power sector in South Asia. It focuses on addressing the diversity challenge in a male-dominated industry. In South Asia, many women quit their jobs when they get married and have children, leading to obstacles for power utilities in retaining women with children. WePOWER has a module specifically designed for returning and working mothers and parents who are re-entering the workforce after taking a break to raise their children. This transition can be challenging, and the network aims to provide support for these individuals to return to their previous careers or explore new opportunities.
